All musalli’s and worshipers should be informed in advance that they will need to bring their own prayer mats. If someone does not have a prayer mat, the Masjid will provide a disposable prayer mat (free or at a charge).

Trustees need to decide whether they will provide the prayer mats for free or charge a fee. Our advice based on speaking to some of the larger Masjids is to give these free and ask for a recommended donation. A lot of mats will be needed for Juma salah as many people may turn up without a mat.
