Face shields are required for staff and volunteers who are on the front line dealing with the public, especially staff at entrances. Masks are not enough to provide protection for staff who will interact and speak to people coming to the Masjid. These are disposable face shields and are suitable for use for the whole day.

Masjid trustees can also consider asking worshipers who stay behind in the Masjid between prayers to wear a face shield. Anyone who will be interacting with other worshipers should wear a face shield. Face shields are not suitable to wear during Salah and therefore can be removed or reversed during Salah.
